“Do you ever have a moment when you visit a photoblog and say “wow?” That was my first reaction upon visiting Nadine Lambertz’s and Andreas Pietsch’s photoblog, barrikadestudio. “Wow” doesn’t even begin to explain how amazing their photography is. This is what I imagine when I think of high fashion meets surrealism. Oddly beautiful and fantastical, these images are an incredible exploration into the creativity of the two photographers. Especially capitivating are the post-processing techniques that the duo incorporates into the final production. The cross-processed and sepia-toned works are interesting because they focus the eye on the entire scene, not just one point. Nadine and Andreas have set a bar in excellence that will be hard to match.
